Evelthon was born in Nicosia, Cyprus (1963) and graduated from the Pancyprian Gymnasium (1980). Following obligatory military service for two years in the Army of the Republic of Cyprus, he studied economics and ancient history on a Fulbright Scholarship (BA degree, 1985) at Swarthmore College (www.swarthmore.edu) and international management (MBA, 1986) at Hult International Business School (www.hult.edu) in the USA. Prior to establishing Epsilon Consulting, he lived and worked in Cyprus, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. He is fluent in Greek, English, and German, and has a reading knowledge of French.
In addition to co-founding the nanotechnology startup ” Advanced Materials Design and Manufacturing Ltd-AmaDema (www.amdmcomposites.com) in 2013, Evelthon G. Iacovides is the Co-founder/Owner/President of Epsilon Consulting Ltd, which he co-founded in 1997. He has 38 years of experience as a manager and management consultant with expertise in small business consulting and training, international market research, and environmental and socio-economic impact assessment. His areas of practice and expertise include environmental regulatory compliance, frontier market evaluation, and non-technical project risk analysis and management. In addition to his involvement in high-tech startups and business education for the past 26 years, he is the creator and owner of the Small and Micro-Enterprise Rapid Diagnostic and Problem-solving Method “EVELTHON” (www.evelthon.eu).
Evelthon has also been teaching marketing and entrepreneurship (in English and Greek) for the past 27 years in both bachelor’s and MBA programs. His other areas of long experience and current involvement are defence technology, environmental and socio-economic impact assessment, and composite materials/nanotechnology.
